At CES 2020, Intel announced the successor of Hades Canyon NUC 8, the NUC 9 Extreme ‘Ghost Canyon,’ a mix of AMD graphics inside the Intel processor. Also, the fact that you can add your RAM, storage, and OS certainly made every gamer’s money worth the unit.
Nevertheless, Intel’s Ghost Canyon is ahead of its counterpart in the Intel NUC line-up. You can change the CPU, RAM, Storage and ports whenever you want. The company also said that several partners are in place to customise the PC. So in that respect, you won’t be running out of options.
Intel also confirmed the use of the 9th Gen Intel Core H Series processor to operate a computer that can run up to 5 GHz at a single core. There are i5-9330H, i7-9750H and i9-9880H available.
And what’s impressive is that NUC 9 only has a volume of 5 litres. It’s more like a mini PC that can be shifted without breaking the sweat from one place to another.
Now that you have to pay huge bucks to get your hands on Ghost Canyon, it is quite apparent. Nonetheless, it will be worth putting a hole in the pocket for people who like smooth games.
