For its Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphones in India, HMD Global updates Android 10. The update details were publicly shared on the Nokia Mobile Twitter account. The Android ten update for the Nokia 6.1 Plus also contains the Android Security Patch from December 2019.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus Android 10 update with V4.10C is roughly 1.3 GB. The update is slowly rolling, so it should take a while to hit all units eventually. Users will be prompted to download the update with a push notification.
The update can also be verified by going to Settings-> About Phone-> System updates-> Check for updates.
The new Nokia 6.1 Plus update adds the usual features of Android 10. A new system-wide dark theme and gesture-based navigation system is featured in the latest software version. The update also takes Nokia 6.1 Plus to other major Android 10 features, including smart reply, improved privacy, location controls, and more.
The update includes a security patch in December 2019, which, as announced, would also boost device protection. Just like other HMD Global smartphones, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is also included in Google’s Android One program.
