Yesterday, Qualcomm launched three powerful chipsets, among them Qualcomm Snapdragon 720 G, Snapdragon 662 and Snapdragon 460. The processors have various AI capabilities and a gaming platform from Qualcomm. One of the highlights of the chipsets recently released is that they support the Indian Navigation System called Navigation with Indian Constellation(NavIC). The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has led Qualcomm to introduce NavIC in the Mobile Chipset of Snapdragon.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 Processor
Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor is the first of the Snapdragon 400 series’ high-performance chipset. It is used in mid-range and low-end models. In different mid-sized smartphones, including Redmi 8A, Huawei Y, Moto G6, Realme C1, Redmi 8, the Snapdragon 400 series can be included.
Performance Of Qualcomm Snapdragon 460
The Snapdragon 460 processor improves the performance of the mid-range smartphones with respect to browsing software, loading menus, and camera use. Qualcomm said Snapdragon 460 chipset would carry up to 70 percent of Snapdragon 450 chipset’s output.
The new Snapdragon 400 series chipset will help your mobile gamers, who want to better their gaming experience with a budget-friendly smartphone. The chipset has the Adreno 610 GPU, also used in Snapdragon 665 GPU Qualcomm.
As of yet, MediaTek, one of Qualcomm’s biggest rivals, has not revised a chipset to compete with Snapdragon 460 Qualcomm.
Smartphones with 460 chipsets from Snapdragon will be available in the market by the end of 2020.
