Origin Of Coronavirus
There were intriguing underlying data that show that the cause of the deadly coronavirus originated in a virology laboratory in Wuhan. This was considered previously, but new findings have now been released by Chinese scientists that link the laboratory at Wuhan to COVID-19.
Number Of Deaths
The latest coronavirus data revealed that the death rate in China now stands at 1,770, and there are still 70,548 confirmed cases. More than 780 million people live under various forms of travel restrictions, nearly half of the population of China.
The coronavirus is supposed to be derived from the wholesale market in Huanan Seafood in Wuhan, China. The food market sells a vast number of animals, including bats, one of COVID-19’s most common carriers. The coronavirus can be transmitted to humans from animals.
The new report says, however, that a deadly disease was discovered in the laboratory rather than in the market. A new paper on the origins of coronavirus was published by the South China University of Technology and confirmed that the disease possibly had been developed by the Wuhan Center for Disease Control (WCDC) and the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Just 900 meters away from the Huanan Market, the Wuhan Center for Disease Control is close to the local hospital. “WHCDC was also adjacent to the Union Hospital where the first group of physicians during this outbreak became contaminated,” the paper reads. Liu Zhiming, Wuchang Hospital Director in Wuhan, died of coronavirus on Monday.
