Freshworks Inc., Software-as-a-service (SaaS) unicorn, has named Tyler Sloat as its Chief Financial Officer.
San Mateo, Freshworks, California, said on Monday that Sloat would maintain sustainable growth through its consumer segments and supervises all transparency, finance, legal and IT functions.
A Freshworks statement said Sloat previously worked as CFO in Zuora, Inc., a California-based subscription services firm that sponsored Zuora as a public company from inception to successful IPOs, and subsequent headquarters. Sloat held executive finance positions at companies such as NetApp Inc. and Siebel Systems, Inc. until Zuora.
“The market has changed, but not the business fundamentals that drive Freshworks’ sustainable growth. We see a growing demand for products that better automate customer care and information technology services while allowing teams to operate better remotely in the critical era.”

Tyler brings a clear record of success, financial attitude and strategic experience that are essential to adopt a disciplines business model that will also improve our potential to raise $1 trillion in revenue in the years ahead,” Girish Mat said.
Freshworks announced the company’s annual recurring sales of $200 million.
